Through only the use of typography, this piece conveys my interpretation of poem's message: jubilation and revelry in the earth and nature. Structure is appropriated from a photograph taken in Florence, Italy of a gelato cone display. The outstretched lines of the cones embody a gesture of jubilation. Type, set in Helvetica Neue, graduates up or down by point size to create a greater sense of motion and depth. Printed on white 35# Oce large format presentation matte paper.
