For this project, my class was assigned to construct a campaign for a local company of our choice.
My group chose Fossil Cove Brewing Co. located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and chose to go in a fun direction. Drunk dinosaurs.
It's clear that Fossil Cove Brewing Co. is an exciting and memorable brand, and we wanted to channel those same feelings into the campaign. AKA, dinosaurs having a little too much fun.
In making the designs, I wanted to go for a simple background and let the dinosaurs be the main focus. As Fossil Cove is themed around the dinosaur eras, I just wanted to make some dizzy, drunk dinos.
We had an idea for an ambient campaign in which Fossil Cove could host "excavating" days around Arkansas. Dig around in the dirt as if you were a paleontologist searching for fossils, but... you'd be looking for beer. "If ya find it, you can keep it." 21+ of course, but we believed it would be a great way to gain attention and show off the brands fun and unique energy.
