Strata

Strata: A layer or a series of layers of rock in the ground.
Strata is usually used to observe and learn about the different layers of rock and fossils. In my sculpture I visualized what could be the future of our generations' strata and the fossils it would hold - plastics. As I incorporated the plastics in my sculpture, I attempted to instill them between the solid concrete and represent their everlasting print left on earth.
