The world of Troetis is a brutal and unforgiving one, populated by primordial creatures who are ruled by calculating and pernicious gods. I'm not sure why this concept came to me during quarantine, but it has certainly helped me contextualize the craziness of our COVID-19 world and appreciate the luxuries of our modern lives. After all, we don't have to contend with 11-foot warrior-monkeys with daddy issues.
