RETURN OF THE NATURE
As we all spend our days in self isolation / quarantine during the
CoronaVirus Covid-19 pandemic, I had some free time to work on a
little self-indulgent project. You all have probably heard about it on the news
how with the decrease in human activity nature is slowly creeping back
into our unoccupied spaces. It got me wondering what would it look like
if nature reclaimed Dubai, the busiest city I’ve experienced, specific
Sheikh Zayed Road and Dubai metro the hub of activity.
These series of images are of my interpretation of a world where
the lockdown extended beyond a few months, a post-apocalyptic Dubai.
