From lat. –arius: a self-contained piece for one voice, with or without instrumental or orchestral accompaniment.
Wood is one of the most common materials used in the design, besides one of the most ancients. Aria comes from a design exploration of an illumination element without use wood and combines two different materials through the idea of “rock, paper, and scissor”.
The chosen materials were concrete (rock) and steel (scissor) seeking an industrial style making use of the apparent concrete.
The goal is to grant every element its own personality making easy to identify each one from each other, furthermore work as a whole.
