Midsole Concept: TPMS Diamond Midsole

This model deals with a Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS).
Put simply, these geometries are crystalline structures
that are repeated in three dimensions | triply periodic
and have a minimized surface area
spanning the piece boundary | minimal surface
All parts were modeled using Rhino,
lattice integration was performed through nTopology,
and all additional designs were created in Procreate.
Integrated Lattice Midsole
Sectioned lattice integration to regions of
highest pressure during running,
optimizing cost and production time.
Indented border along each piece to
enable greater cushioned compression.
