This was a project in my Design 2 class, where we had to design some ads based on some information given to us. This one was for a coffee shop called La Via Plata.
Since the description I was given mentioned croissants, I figured it would be a good idea to use a picture of one. Of course, the picture wasn't long enough, so I had to get creative. I distorted the paper the croissant was on to give it an end (since in the original photo it was cut off) and I had to add in some shadows and such to make it look believable.
Also we had to use a fleur de lis graphic in the ad, so I sort of blended it into the coffee and turned up the brightness.
All in all, came out better than I thought it would.
