Manifesto Film Festival: Retrospective

Milton S. Sojo was picked as 2012's Design Manager/Art Director where he was exposed to a very fast-paced work environment and a lot of quick problem solving. The design manager had to successfully manage the design team to come up with and develop the different design requests made by the production team, which included posters, flyers, letterhead, handouts, video production material, event decorative material, and event program, to name some items.

The Manifesto Film Festival is Charlotte's longest consecutive running film festival, the event is organized by a group of 12 handpicked students from the Art Institute of Charlotte. 2012's event was hosted at the McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square. With its stained windows and Byzantine dome, the McGlohon Theater has become a showplace for live performances and memorable experiences.

The theme of this particular event was to look back in time at the best film from previous Manifestos and see what the winning film makers were producing now. Below are some of the designs that were voted and picked as the event leading artwork, and a few images of the event. The logo and both of the art work directly below it were designed by Milton S. Sojo.
