The female shoot is inspired from the psychological thriller “Black Swan” released in 2010 that talks of the birth of an artist and the darker emotions of seduction, aggression and jealousy taking over the softer aspects of her personality in her quest to achieve artistic perfection.
The artist being portrayed as a quiet, introverted girl, passionate about dance and as the movie progresses she starts to embrace the inner feelings of rebel, envy towards her rival and seduction to get closer to the producer of the dance. By the end of the of the story, the artist is completely consumed by the dark emotions that she have been tormenting her. We are trying to bring out how every individual has an inner conflict between the good and the evil and it is about which one props its head and takes over the actions of the individual. Both the emotions are like 2 sides of the same coin and one cannot exist without the other.
Moreover an individual may not even be in control of what the body chooses to listen to.
We have used a mix of drapes and black and white garments to bring out the contrast in
emotions and the feeling of one emotion taking over the other.
