IED Barcelona (European Institute of Design) students designed an interactive trophy for the ceremony where the presidency of the international organization "4 Moteurs pour l’Europe" was transferred.

This trophy, named "GO.4.WARD", is a symbol that represents the cooperation between the four European regions that forms the organization: Baden-Württemberg (GR), Catalunya (SP), Lombardia (IT) y Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (FR).

Preforma Design studio was in charge of the trophy production, in partnership with IED's design studio. Alex Piñeiro was asked to help Preforma to develop a stand-alone interactive system, built exclusively with hardware electronics, that illuminates the trophy right when handed over.
