Branding design inspired by Chinese Mahjong

这是叹佬鸡煲IP设计的第二弹。

叹佬鸡煲的“鸡”形象深受食客喜爱,餐馆经营者趁势推出IP周边。如何让这款周边能与品牌相符、饶有趣味,又能引发顾客的收集欲望?在数轮头脑风暴后,我们最终选定中国国粹的麻将里面经典的“十三么”。十三幺是麻将的一种胡牌方式,由东、南、西、北、中、发、白、一九条、一九万、一九筒,共十三个牌组成的,一种也不能少。而“十三幺”的“幺”,形象恰好就是“鸡”,与创意初衷完美契合。

This project is the brand periphery of Tanlou Chicken Pot Brand Mascot.
The "chicken" image of Tanlou Chicken Pot is well loved by diners. Our client planned to launch some peripheries for the brand immediately. Furthermore, could we arouse the customers' desire to collect all the set of peripheries? After several rounds of brainstorming, we finally selected the classic "The Thirteen Orphans" from Chinese Mahjong. 

The Thirteen Orphans are one of the winning form of mahjong. It consists of East, South, West, North, Red Dargon , Green Dargon , White dragon , One dot , Nine dot , One bamboo ,Nine bamboo , and One character , Nine character. The "Orphans" of the "The Thirteen Orphans" happens to be a "chicken", which perfectly matches the original intention of the creative.
