In the eyes of dyslexia

I was instructed on selecting an article that dealt with different variations of type and create an editorial design based on the article, I instead explored how the user interacts with type. This led me to the topic of dyslexia and on this topic I put you in the eyes of someone with dyslexia.

Various experimentation and editing such as water photography was done in order to purposefully decrease readability.
The grid that was made to create the editorial.
The pull quotes were made with Helvetica glyphs to make the viewer struggle through the quotes and take their time as if you had dyslexia.
The interactive page serves to create movement of the word dyslexia and to overlap text which further makes you struggle to read what is being said on the first and last page.
The purpose of ink is that eventually when ink is dropped into water it will soon become cloudy, therefore there is a rush in having to act quickly and the feeling of being under pressure before everything goes black. That pressure is to simulate the pressure of being dyslexic and having to read.
