Art Nouveau Book and Wine Bottle

I chose to do Art Nouveau as my art movement for this project. I found a lot of my information from the Museum of Metropolitan Art website. I wanted to incorporate many different patterns into my book because organic patterns and floral was in a lot of designs during this time period. I used the blocks of color on each of the pages to pull out some of the colors they mostly used in the color palettes for Art Nouveau. I used the fonts Attic for the thin delicate type of the titles and Amarante for the thicker type of the body copy. I used one of William Morris’ patterns for my fabric choice for my cover. I used this pattern all over my Barefoot wine bottle for my packaging. I used elements from the original labels of the bottle and printed my William Morris pattern on a transparent sticker paper and stuck it right on the bottle. I then printed the labels on a matte white sticker paper to stick on top of the pattern. I also added a tag on the bottle for an extra element and to describe why I designed the bottle the way I did.
