Owning jewelry for Iranian women brings a credit. It’s a symbol of wealth, Power and dignity. But in the current century, it appears more like a consumerism action. Therefor I chose the material brass, which is used in jewelry design and put the piece beneath a part of a “want ad” in newspaper; a part which is considered worthless most of the times in wealthy families but at the same time, it’s an essential for middle class families. The last page of this small notebook is devoted to a critical text which I wrote myself to confront the audience with the conflicts of values in modern society.
