CAM - Contemporay Art Museum Sai Gon

A personal project

In 2014, this building in Ho Chi Minh city (Sai Gon) was being built to operate as an opera house and a space to host exhibitions and conferences. It was destined to be the latest landmark of the city. For unknown reasons, the construction of the building is still being delayed until this day. Now, the area has become a place where cows come to graze.
Normally, the identity design for a museum has to be flexible to adapt to many exhibitions. Sometimes, it leads to a lack of personality and something special for the visitor to remember. I want to experiment with creating an identity of a museum that has a strong voice and purpose. It can invite in people who share the same qualities and also people who want to satisfy their curiosity.
The posters are shouting "A new museum is in town!". It is a chance to introduce famous pieces of contemporary art around the world to the public and catch people’s attention.
