This was a project done for the North Carolina Sustainable Building Design Competition. My team consisted of 3 people and we had to design a building with 9 apartments with no more than 550 sq. ft of each unit/apartment. Each unit included Living/Dining Room,Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom. The building design included the following community spaces: Laundry facilities to include 2 washers and 2 driers, Meeting space to accommodate 20 people, Separate conference room for breakout sessions (5 people), small kitchen area (did not need to be a separate room, but may join other community spaces), Bathrooms to accommodate community meetings.
