SAYANG, love and sadness

'Sayang' is a malay word to represent either love (coaxing) or sadness(lost). With it being the theme of the Singapore Writer's festival, the brochure is used to convey what Sayang is and the events of the day.
2 colours, blue and red. (used in duotone too). ‘Sayang’ is a malay word that can represent either showing love or sadness, hence the colour red to show the passionate side and blue the depressing side. Explore the folding in such it is always split in 2 for its gatefold. On the big picture of the crying child, it is split in such a way the top look like a mother hugging and consoling the child and the bottom half is the crying child— love and sadness.

It is also a convenient brochure, such that the about page is always at the back and all contents are equally distributed on one page and order not disrupted.
Disclaimer: The pictures used on the brochure does not belong to me, but to their respective owners, Singapore Writers festival does not belong to me, the brochure is made for school work purposes.
