Branding: For the guitar and music shop, I came up with the name, "Muse". This name represents how art and music inspire the soul. The logo associated with this store is created from the abstract shape of the guitar, replacing the center of the guitar with a vintage vinyl record expressing how this shop specializes in guitars and vinyl records. The name Muse lays across the arm of the guitar. This font gives the logo a trendy aesthetic. The colors used in the logo is a complementary color scheme and signifies the color scheme that is shown.
Concept Statement: Muse is a Guitar & Music store located in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Vintage guitars, vinyl records, and record players will be sold here along with new guitars and music equipment. This trendy, vintage guitar shop is inspired by the surrounding artist community of New Hope. These connections of spaces represent the connection of art and music, the connection music has with this artist community, in which these interior spaces are joined together.
Justification Statement: This guitar and music shop focuses primarily on recreational shoppers. Those who wish to invest in instruments and lessons will stop in along with those who come in to check out the events happening since they are open to the public. Clients of all ages have a role in this retail store. Anyone from children to the elderly enjoy music. There isn't another music store in New Hope. Although, there is one across the bridge in Lambertville. This store sells new and vintage instruments. Muse is going to specialize in selling vintage and new acoustic and electric guitars, vinyl records, and record players. What makes my design unique is the connection to the artist community in New Hope.
