United Way | Giving Tuesday 2019
I had the honor of serving as art director for the #GivingTuesday campaign for United Way Worldwide. Giving local United Ways the ability to customize social media assets with their own message and logos was an important piece of this project as there are 1800 local United Ways in the world. 1200 of those are located in the US. The designs which amounted to well over 400 assets, were posted across multiple social media platforms in an effort to raise money on the biggest day of giving, of the year. The project began with creating a United Way #GivingTuesday logo using the existing logo. I designed a printable guidebook, Photoshop templates that local United Ways could customize, a tease video and ready to post content. This content was translated in Spanish for Spain and re-purposed for UW Centraide Canada. I worked with a very talented illustrator, Nhicam Nguyen to create the super hero look for one of the sub-campaigns. Below I am showcasing a few examples of these designs. Example of a template for a Facebook post that allows users to add their own relevant photos and fill in their location regardless of skill level. This particular template is one of many templates used for the focused health campaign.
