This is a research based sponsored project by the SHIC (Smart Hand-loom Innovation Center).

As a part of the textile design curriculum, we under took a elaborate field research in Karnataka. We had first hand experience of the craft practices in its actual environment.

This documentation reflects condition of woolen hand-loom weavers in the southern districts of Karnataka.
