'Carry with care' is apart of this course. this workshop was focused on sustainable solution for our daily needs.
The knowledge of India’s traditional heritage has always shown the path of sustainable
living. Can we use this knowledge to create natural bags using knitted and knotted techniques to counter the challenge plastic has imposed on us? Let's rethink Khadi – a movement to use our natural resources (cotton, local materials) and spin it (process our thoughts) to craft khadi (use our hands, coordinating between our hand and mind) and wear our own clothes(sustainability of our resources by local consumption) without harming our environment. Understanding this philosophy and applying it to find solutions to ‘carry with care’.
