The above pictures are of my acrylic paintings for ART121, Observational Drawing. These paintings are a series of positive/negative studies of a still-life. We drafted a lot of compositions before deciding upon three final arrangements to actually carry out with paint.

This project may seem simple, but it still offered challenges. Clean line work becomes very difficult when working with acrylic paint and a limited supply of brushes. I was reminded of the importance of refinement through this process.
