I-285 Anniversary Pop-up Exhibit
Part of the outreach strategy for planned improvements to the I-285 corridor
I was responsible for creating many major graphics and posters for a temporary pop-up exhibit celebrating the 50th anniversary of I-285. The exhibit was held at Perimeter Mall, near Atlanta. All components of the exhibition were designed using a visual style that I created.
The exhibit took place over the course of a week, along the main concourse at Perimeter mall. A Lego recreation of I-285 was included.
I designed the larger posters for the exhibit. I created posters showing historical aerials from the four counties that I-285 passes through, as well as a very large poster detailing the expansion of the freeway since 1969.
The design of this poster gave viewers a year-by-year look at plans, maps, interchanges, widenings, development, and improvements along the I-285 corridor.
