Foundation Studies: Experiments with Type, Form and Layouts
Project Brief/Background:
The brief was to understand the software Adobe Illustrator better by exploring the Pen Tool and creating compositions using the same. The learning objective was to get a comprehensive understanding of the Bézier curves and how they function. The exercise was to be done while keeping in mind the basic principles of design and how they can be applied in my compositions.
Project Goal:
The goal of this exercise was to explore the Pen Tool in Adobe Illustrator and create compositions using only the tool. I wanted to start off with simple shapes such as stripes and squares and then experiment with type on them to create explorations. Later, I wanted to work with real life objects and convert them into vectors to use in my final compositions
This was a Self Initiated Project
