G R O W T H   &   B L O O M

During my last semester in university, I took a relief printing class and I learned how to make a woodcut print from start to finish. Below are a few of the prints that I made, which includes a single-color edition, multi-color edition, trial proofs, and varied prints. I'm very happy with these prints as they are one of the biggest prints I've ever made (about 11" x 14") and I also made them all by hand with my sweat and aching muscles.
Here a few process photos. From left to right: my carved wood block; setting up the inks for mixing and later inking; single-color edition prints hanging to dry; multicolor edition prints before the final layer of color is added
