The theme ONO is coined from my surname Onolaja, and first name Onosanya. ONO is a Yoruba word that translates to Sculptor in English. The Yoruba name ''Onolaja'' translates in English as "the carver made a way". I am from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria. Yorubas are prolific sculptors, famous for Terracotta works throughout the 12th and 14th century; also known for their capacity in making artwork out of bronze. My works under the theme ONO portrays my conscious efforts in the departure from common habitual aesthetics and practice in sculpture.
