A design inspired by artist Roberto Ferri and a juxtaposition of both modern sketchy, comic book style mixed with renaissance themes. Here, Jesus is depicted with one arm nailed to the cross, a very traditional religious image combined with a modern style of crosshatching and fine line pen. This sort of illustration style is one I am incredibly interested in currently, I enjoy the rough lines, bold darks against the stark white of the paper creating huge contrast and boldness. I believe this would transfer into a great tattoo design or an animated image.
