Illustrated Recipe - This project is based on a website called "They Draw and Cook" where people can upload illustrated or designed recipes at a 16.667"x 6.25" scale, to then be considered for publication in one of their cookbooks. I chose to use an apple cake recipe from my grandmother, incorporate my fine art skill and experiment with water color paints to express the homemade, comforting vibe baking with your family can bring. My concept involves not only showing a visual of the cake itself, but the delicious cinnamon apple aroma that will follow.
