Commissioned by the author herself, the book cover design plays on a 'movie poster' like feel and vibrancy. Even though the design was tailored to best sum up the essence of the story, the artwork ended up being a little bit too bright for the debut kindle release. The design was put together from various stock photography and retouched / painted to work better in tonal spectrum. Scroll below to see a few 'process' frames.
