In 2019, the passenger flow during "Chunyun" reached nearly 3 billion.

Why is it a important?

The Spring Festival travel season-"Chunyun" happens because most of workers migrated to those well developed areas for better chance of working such as Shanghai, Beijing,etc...And workers need get back to their hometown and reunite with their family at the most important festival during a whole year, the Spring Festival. Since China has the hugest population in the world, and the relatively imbalance development of each area. Thus, the Spring Festival travel season became a phenomenon, a migration. More importantly, it is representing the economy situation of the most well developed cities in China. In a word, it would concludes the economy of whole country.

I selected three essential years out of decades to build the visual language of mapping.

And printed the map out with risograph to feel the  historical texture feeling and nice overlay effects for demonstrating the growth of China.
