This still life of four pears was done in my first year of GCSE Art while I studied in the UK. We were assigned to replicate a set of chosen objects as best as possible using graphite and paper, but also to consider the meanings behind the objects we chose. Pears, the object I chose, represent inner peace, wisdom and health especially in Christianity.
