From July through August, I worked at Dark Horse's Shanghai division as a creative intern. My work consisted of creating original IP for new projects and complete style guides as well as fashion illustrations for Chinese social media platform 小紅書. I worked closely with the creative director to make 10 original characters, making character poses as well as character designs for upcoming animations narrative illustrations and merchandising purposes. I also created group poses and posters for promotional material as well as co-writing a script for a potential future project. I then collaborated on fashion illustrations of Emily the Strange for promotional material on Chinese social media, studying trends in Chinese fashion and taking inspiration from apparel influencers such as Vogue.
