This table was inspired by different forms of joinery
and the use of cross beams; the legs entail five separate pieces
held together by a walnut insert, and the frame
is comprised of tenons and half-lap joints.
The table was designed to invite individuals to sit on the ground
or on small cushions when using it, and includes a tray
lined with ceramic tiles. The tray is removable and the tiles
keep the condensation from hot or cool drinks from damaging the wood.
