Student project of the stand for Elica s.p.a. at Eurocucina 2018
In mathematics, Voronoi diagram is a partitioning of a plane into regions based on
distance to points in a specific subset of the plane. Starting from this, the plan of the
stand was born by some significant points of the logo of the company. Thanks to
the geometry of the logo it was possible to have a central empty space encircled by
volumes assigned to different functions. In accordance with the first communication
purpose, people, this central space becomes the heart of the stand. Like a square,
it is a socialization and relax space where there is also a show-cooking area where
it’s possible to admire a chef cooking live and showing the potentiality of Elica hoods
and hobs.
