In this project I’ll be focusing on creating icons to represent death and funeral. 

An Icon can be used to communicate different ideas and attract the attention of the viewer instantly. It is supposed to be simple enough that it can be globally understood. An icon can represent many different things and direct the viewer to act. For example, the bathroom signs are icons because they are globally recognizable, they are simple enough that if resized people would still be able to understand  the meaning of it and it also directs the viewer to an action. Because icons can be resized to a very big or very small size, they are most commonly used to represent apps, buttons, controls and etc. When creating an icon, it is important to think about the viewers and if they can understand the message behind it, and if the design is simple enough to be resized while still making the point across. 

This icon represents death.
