Inspired by the coral specimens that I found in RISD Nature Lab, I initiated a research project investigating branching corals in nature and branching systems in general. In the first part of my research, I reviewed many science journals and examined the biological and evolutionary traits of many coral species . Then focused on design and bio-mimicry's perspectives by situating the biological advantages of branching systems in the field of Art, Design & Architecture.
