Homes tell stories about the people that dwell in them. The objects we surround ourselves with reveal tiny details of the very lives we live as people.
Artifacts that decorate the walls of our homes are communicators of the places we’ve been to, the food we eat, the music we listen to and the books we read. They showcase the lives we’ve created for ourselves and the experiences we’ve had. They display our achievements and milestones.
When you walk into a strangers house, the colour of their walls, the fabric of their curtains, the flowers in their vase and the pickles in their jars all tell tales of the people that live there.
Our homes are nothing but reflections of our truest selves.

I worked with this concept and picked up elements from own living space that I felt were peculiar observations and which in some unique way were interesting attributes of my personality.
All elements were then hand illustrated to resemble shelves on a wall. layers were exposed on individual screens to achieve prints with multiple colour variations.
