This product was created for the vulnerable encounters part of the curriculum. Vulnerable encounters centered around patients with mild to moderate dementia.

During this project, we visited a nursing home with a whole wing dedicated to dementia. We also met with the staff that, for few hours, made me experience how it feels to be a patient with dementia.

We used low-fi prototypes, bodystorming, and improvised theatre to create a workshop where we touched very sensitive topics such a long distance caregiving, how does it feel to be a patient with dementia, and how it is to be a relative to a patient with dementia.
