UNESCO World Heritage Sites are places around the world that are protected by UNESCO. For this assignment, we had to chose a site and then create an identity for it by designing the following aspects: Mark, Logotype, Color Palette, 5th Element, Typeface, 3 New Yorker Ads, Website (adapted for tablet and phone), Information Booklet, and a Site Sign typesetted in 7 different languages.

I chose West Lake Culture Landscape of Hangzhou. This is a site where many Chinese artists go to to find inspiration for their shanshui hua. I decided to use that aesthetic as the binding factor of my identity. These ink drawings are fluid and smooth. For my informational booklet, I made an ink drawing that connected all the pictures of the West Lake together.
