About the artist
Anne was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She attended the Meadows School of Art at Southern Methodist University, earning her BFA in painting, drawing, and photography. From 2006 – 2012, Anne lived in NYC where she owned and operated her own photography company, specializing in architecture, interior, and real estate photography.
After several years away from fine art, Anne returned to painting and drawing with In Flow, her first series exploring abstract painting as a way to better understand the human form. Her newest series, From a Future Memory, builds off her preliminary studies from In Flow, and is inspired by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and contemporary artist Michael Carson.
This series will be on exhibit at the new Gallery Bang Bang August – September 2018.
