A single panel with both pins and tails of dovetail joint allows to create a functional furniture. Indeed, four copies of the same panel are enough to assemble the furniture only changing their orientation, while two holes can start the combination with their wooden dowel pins.
The shape makes this system totally combinable and repeatable, also using different materials like solid wood and coloured wood panels in the same furniture. Every pins, tails or holes will be where it should be.
