This piece is the further form exploration of the "undigitize" series, also functioning more conceptually and imaginatively.

Neurodynamite is a fashion accessory that can store and release neurotransmitter to help user to adjust mental conditions. Inspired by the ingenious synapse structure, Neurodynamite contains several sacs to stores all the chemical components that influence user’s mood, such as dopamine and serotonin, allowing user to store the excess amount of neurotransmitters and release them when needed. This mood regulator is weaved with tissue-like fabrics, connecting the neuron system and the external neurotransmitter containers. Such delicate networks not only allow biochemical catalysts to freely flow in and out but also give user a chance to express itself with an avant-garde aesthetic since the color and form can be highly customized. The color and form can also be generated using the user’s neurotransmitter levels as input parameters for a more unique appearance. In this case, since different levels will generate different forms and colors, this accessory can serve as a mental health monitor to detect potential mental diseases.
First I used parametric design tool to generate the form as the reference for the actual fabrication. The material I finally choose is the thermoplastic because of its great translucency and pliability. A wire frame was used in the fabrication, and the plastic was wrapped around the wire.
