Northern West Virginia Center for Independent Living
The Northern West Virginia Center for Independent Living, or NWVCIL, "is an advocacy resource center for persons with disabilities and the communities in which they live," working with them to gain skills and find opportunities for fully integrated work and housing. I worked with NWVCIL as part of a service course, creating promotional materials, including a logo and brochure. In addition, my team and I drafted a strategic communications plan, strategic social media plan, and several press releases that also served as templates for them to use in the future. NWVCIL chose not to move forward with my team's designs, but I was proud of our work regardless.
