Morgann Paull Studio is a Kansas City- based boutique furniture designer. My company, The Nest: Multimedia Supervision was hired to help establish the brand for the furniture start up.
When Morgann Paull approached us, all he knew was he wanted to build unique furniture and he had no idea how to let people know about it or what his brand would look like. We developed the Morgann Paull brand and identity.
The initial brief called for an identity that was modern, sleek, and androgynous.
To help propel the Morgann Paull brand forward, we also produced a documentary series, explaining “Who is Morgann Paull ?”, “What is Morgann Paull?”, and “Why you need a Morgann Paull?” (scheduled for production).
This is a part of the campaign "What MORe Do you need?", making emphasis on the MOR in more and aligning it with MOR of Morgann Paull.
The goal of the "What More Do you need?" campaign is to highlight the furniture.
We also took product photography for Morgann Paull's first launch, which was a series of vintage stereo consoles that have been modified with modern technology.
Again, going with the campaign "What More do you need?", we placed the consoles in isolated locations and put emphasis on them, versus doing like most furniture product photography and placing them within a "room" environment.
These photographs would be ideal for advertisement as well as "art" prints to highlight the furniture.
Morgann Paull's brand just recently launched. The company attended the Highpoint Market, one of the largest interior design trade shows in the U.S.A. Morgann Paull brand was well received by people from all over the world who attended the trade show. There was even some interest from a few big box retailers.
