When in Rome, take lots of photos! 

I ventured out to this beautiful city on a solo adventure for a long weekend. I highly recommend going out solo, especially for city breaks. I used couch surfer to find likeminded people out there. 

The first night I met an Australian guy we went out for food and talked, we'd both had troubles and helped each other through it, I'm still reading the books he recommended. The second day I met an American girl, she been travelling Europe for awhile, we explored Rome together and found an Italian guy to show us around the city. That night I met some Italian girls who took me out for dinner. These are just a couple of examples of the people I met in such a short amount of time. I got to see so much of Rome guided by the people who live there.

Thank you to all the lovely fellow Travellers and the super Friendly Italian locals who took me in and be-friended me on this truly eye opening adventure.
