“Fong” is a ring representing me. It inspired by my slanted eyes (in Chinese called Fong-Yan).
In Asia, slanted eyes do not meet the mainstream aesthetics, so when I was a teenager, I didn’t really like my eyes. However, when I grew up, I learned to accept and love what I was.
That’s why I wanted to design a ring which is elegant, powerful and makes me feel confident.
The under logo was the brand design I did in sophomore year. I
am very happy to materialize this concept and image into a ring.
