Music video with animation
This year i had a chance to create an animation for the music video. I decided to do it in a traditional way, drawing frames by hand in Adobe Photoshop using my graphic tablet.
I made more than 2000 images (because frame rate for animation was half the video frequency - 12 frames a second). Here is the result and i will show you all the process below.
I started from the rough sketches on paper to find the images and composition. Then i made sketches on a frames from the video to see how it will look like. The idea was to show the sketch-looking forms in constant moving and transformations. Something between dream and reality.
The next step - tried to animate simple forms to see how the elements will move - this is a draft video.
And finally i could start to draw the clean copy using my drafts and sketches.
