A prequel to “A heroic delicacy”, this project was one
of basic surface development for screen printing.
The theme here was the Georgian era. This theme
was then taken forward in the next project.

For the development of this print, links were made
from the Georgian era to Cameos and Silhouettes,
Georgian art, architecture and society, Copperplate
calligraphy and Jane Austen’s writings. These
elements were then combined into this ensemble of
vintage England.
