Dedication of North Hall

On October 12, 2019, members of the RISD community including students, their families, alumni and administration came together for the opening celebration of RISD’s newest dorm, North Hall. I was invited to create a photo moment installation for the event. Inspired by my memories from my Freshman year at RISD, and the memories that will be made by the freshmen living in this new building, I created a blueprint of the RISD seal. The seal featured inside jokes about RISD moments that only students and alumni would truly understand — and giggle over. Along with the blueprint, I created an oversized T square and yellow pencil.
